For many people, the answer probably is or has been YES to at least one of the above. But you can leave the grief behind, advance to peace of mind, by installing SafetyCard.
The
SafetyCard is a powerful HDD recovery card that protects your hard disk drive
from problems caused by viruses, tampering, accidental destruction, abnormal
shutdown, Windows blue screen conditions, registry errors, hacking, and most
other kinds of trouble. It even protects CMOS settings.
Just
insert SafetyCard into your computer and specify the partition(s) you want to
protect. Your computer will then run in optimal condition all the time, without
the technical difficulties. Now you can open your computer to general users
with total peace of mind; designated partitions are totally restored on every
reboot, providing safe and silent resolution for any and all unauthorized deletions,
installations, viruses, malware, spyware, formats, etc.
The SafetyCard is the perfect tool to protect and manage multiple software configurations for a computer classroom or single user. Just install a SafetyCard, configure a few simple options, and protection begins instantly. The computer works as normal, and the user does not sense anything unusual. However in the background your SafetyCard works to protect your computer from accidental destruction, abnormal shutdown, Windows blue screen conditions, registry errors, etc. If anything happens with the computer, simply reboot… With SafetyCard you always can be sure to have working computers in your school. Teachers can concentrate on the educational aspect of their job and will not have to worry about the safety of the computers.
There is no need to re-partition your existing hard disk. Protection begins as soon as the WinSchool PCI SafetyCard is inserted. The SafetyCard conforms to Windows Plug & Play standards.
The WinSchool PCI SafetyCard protects against computer viruses, accidental deletion or corruption of files, sudden power loss, hacking or tampering, and even formatting of the hard disk. Password Protected Access Your WinSchool PCI SafetyCard configuration settings may be modified through an Administrator Password. Control access to Startup Partitions through a User Password.
The WinSchool SafetyCard offers support for up to 8 Startup Partitions, and each may contain separate software configurations. For example, many take advantage of this feature to support different operating systems, such as Windows 3.1, 95, 98, NT, Me, 2000, 2003, or XP.
During startup, a user may choose a Startup Partition to boot from. The user has the option to restore from a saved backup copy of the partition, erasing changes made by the previous user.
The Startup Menu not only includes the option to restore a Startup Partition, but also the option to keep previous changes temporarily, or save previous changes to the backup copy.
The WinSchool PCI SafetyCard reserves the last partition of a multi-partition hard disk for storage of shared data files, visible and freely accessible between different Startup Partitions.
An administrator may manage the shared disk space of the Data Partition by scheduling automatic intervals to purge data. There is no need to worry about insufficient disk space.
